EU FLEGT and REDD facilities
The EU FLEGT Facility supports the implementation of the EU Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Action Plan on illegal logging and trade in associated timber products. The EU REDD Facility helps improve land-use governance and transparency in commodity supply chains to limit deforestation. We are funded by the EU and EU Member States.
EU FLEGT Facility
The EU FLEGT Facility supports the implementation of the EU FLEGT Action Plan with a focus on Voluntary Partnership Agreements (VPAs). The Facility contributes to combating illegal logging and strengthening forest governance while encouraging sustainable economic development in countries that produce or process timber and export to the EU.
EU REDD Facility
The EU REDD Facility supports developing countries in improving land-use governance as part of their efforts to slow, halt and reverse deforestation. The Facility contributes to the overall EU effort to reduce its impact on deforestation in developing countries.
